Floral Dress

Hi!! Just a quick outfit post today. I have a very busy day at work so I will write more tomorrow. This dress is from Target. It was very inexpensive (around $20) and it should still be available. I like the style and the little lace detail in it too. Hope everyone is having a great week so far. I'm looking forward to the long weekend!!!

Beaches Jazz Fest - Part 2

Top: H&M // Dungarees (overalls): Boohoo Canada (available here) //
Sandals: Ardene (available here) // Sunglasses: H&M // Necklace: Forever 21

Good Morning!

Here are some pictures from our second day at the Beaches Jazz Fest. I absolutely love the outfit I was wearing...wish I could wear it everyday lol. The dungarees (overalls) are from Boohoo Canada and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. They are great and exactly as pictured. I love dungarees. I know the look isn't for everyone but I think they are really cute and super comfortable.

What do you think of Spock? He was walking around the festival, completely in character. It was fun taking pics with him.

I'm off to work now. Hope everyone has a good day. I'll be back with a new outfit post tomorrow!!

Dr. Draw - Beaches Jazz Fest

Dr. Draw (one of my favourite musicians) was playing at the Beaches Jazz Festival. He is an electric violinist and his performance was incredible. His show is always high energy and his music is very unique. Definitely check him out if you ever get the chance. For my international readers, he not only does shows in Canada but internationally as well. Click here to see his website. His music is also available on iTunes. I was lucky to get a picture with him (as seen above). I ended up attending the event two nights so I will show you another outfit tomorrow. Have you ever been to the Beaches Jazz Fest (for those who live in the Toronto area)?

Here is a short video of Dr. Draw from that night. Sorry the sound quality is a bit off because we were right beside the speaker.

Beaches Jazz Festival - Part 1

Mural in Toronto
Sitting in the middle of Queen Street in Toronto
Top: Forever 21 // Shorts: H&M // Denim Shirt: Giant Tiger // Sandals: Ardene

It was the Beaches Jazz Festival in Toronto this weekend and it was awesome. They close a portion of Queen Street and musicians play on different street corners. This is one of the outfits I wore. It was a little bit chilly so I am glad I had the long sleeve shirt to put on. I am really loving graphic tees, especially muscle tees. I am also loving high-waisted shorts right now but they have to be styled the "right" way lol. What are some of your favourite festival outfits?

I'll be back with another post this afternoon. I will share some music pics!

Onesie from Boohoo Canada

Available here
I finally bought a onesie. I have had it on my 'want' list for so long but was never able to find one that was good quality and still a reasonable price. This one is perfect and I am absolutely loving it (for lounging around the house of course). It is from Boohoo Canada and it only cost $35.00. I know I will get a lot of use out of it in the fall and winter. It is just so cozy. How do you feel about onesies? They are okay to wear around the house right lol? Leave comments below :)

Beach and Swimsuits

Swimsuit: JC Penny // Sunglasses: Hello Kitty // Shorts: Forever 21 (similar available here)
Here is an outfit I wore to the beach on the weekend. I wore my one-piece swimsuit with cutoff shorts. I think it looks really cute with the polka dots swimsuit and high-waisted shorts. I am really loving one-piece swimsuits this year. I find they are so much more comfortable and they are trendy this year. There are some really cool designs with unique cutouts. Below are some of my favourites from ASOS. What swimsuits are you liking/wearing this year?

Scottish Plaid

Top: Winners // Shorts: Campus Crew // Plain Shirt: H&M // Shoes: Ardene // Sunglass: H&M

I represented my roots this weekend by wearing this Scottish plaid shirt around my waist (I'm pretty sure it is close to my tartan lol). These are some pics from Toronto on the weekend. My outfit is simple and casual and perfect to wear around the city. I really like wearing the plaid shirt around my waist because it gives a more laid-back (grunge) look. It is also useful if it gets chilly at night. I will definitely be sporting different versions of this look in the future...even into fall.

The first pictures were taken at Pearson Airport. We spent some time there Saturday morning watching the planes take-off and land. It is amazing to see...especially when a big plane lands.

P.S. I just love dogs so I was so happy when I got the chance to spend some time with these cute puppies.

Ruffles

Top: Winners // Pants: Joe Fresh (available here) // Sandals: Ardene (available here) //
Bag: Denna & Ozzy (Urban Outfitters: available here)
Good Morning!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. This is the outfit I wore to work on Friday. It is perfect for the office on a casual Friday. I really like the colours in the top and the ruffles across the front. Also if anyone is looking for a stylish work pants, these Joe Fresh ones are great. They come in different colours and I love that they are slim fit. I'll be back tomorrow with another outfit.

Ottawa

Blazer: Zara // Lace Top: Aritzia // Jeans: Express // Shoes: Aldo // Bag: Aldo

Happy Friday!

Sunny and I went to Ottawa a little while back so I thought I would share some of the pics. These were mostly taken at the Parliament Buildings. They are very beautiful and impressive. In the last pic my photographer (a.k.a Sunny) was being creative lol. It actually turned out pretty cool.

I wanted to be comfortable because we did a lot of walking but I also wanted to look presentable. I always feel a blazer can pull together any outfit.

Does anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend? We will probably hangout downtown Toronto.

Boohoo Canada

Crop Tops: Found here // Onesie: Found here // Dungarees: Found here // Boots: Found here
I finally placed my first order on Boohoo Canada. I am so excited to get my purchases. I have been looking for a onesie for so long and I finally found this one at a really good price. I am also really looking forward to trying the dungarees (overalls). They are an emerging trend this summer and I think they look really cute. I will probably wear the crop tops underneath the dungarees and/or with high waisted shorts and skirts. The ankle boots I will wear now with summer dresses but I will also get a lot of use out of them in the fall and winter.

I let you know what I think of my purchases once I get them. And of course I will share outfit posts.

Have a Happy Thursday!

Geometric Printed Dress

Dress: Giant Tiger // Jacket: Forever 21 (similar here) // Flats: Ardene
Hi Everyone! Here is a new outfit post. This is what I wore to work the other day. It is a simple, light dress that is perfect for summer and the office. The dress is from Giant Tiger, the jacket is from Forever 21 and the shoes are from Ardene. All of pieces are affordable and fashionable. I really like pairing edgy punk-ish pieces with more feminine pieces. I think they balance each other out well (just like this studded jacket and feminine dress). What do you think?

Niagara Falls

Dress: Target (available here) // Sandals: Ardene (available here)
Good Morning!!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. It was beautiful weather here...I just loved it. Sunny and I spent the day in Niagara Falls on Saturday. We saw a show called "Mystic India" and then walked around the city. This is the outfit I wore. I really like the print of the dress. It is from Target and may still be available at some stores. I like wearing simple dresses in the summer. They look very chic and they are easy to wear/style. Have any of you been to Niagara Falls before? They are very beautiful (as you can see from the pic). I'll be back with another outfit post tomorrow.
